Who is the organizer?
The Worm Farm [www.thewormfarm.net] participated as primary sponsor in the first edition of California Dream Week, launched with the organizational support of Soroptimist International of Chico. For year two, The Worm Farm has generously offered to act as organizer of this significant program.
As organizer for California Dream Week, The Worm Farm is able to extend its vast relationships with schools around the North State to facilitate knowledge and awareness of the scholarship program.
The Worm Farm, founded in 1990, is one of the nation's leaders in fostering a culture of sustainability, providing the continental United States and Canada with fun, easy and affordable solutions for decreasing their environmental footprint. The company also provides professional and back-yard gardeners in California with personalized organic and natural soil solutions to fit an extensive variety of needs. The Worm Farm is actively involved with children of all ages and is renowned by schools and universities alike as offering one of the best hands-on learning tours available. Its founder Mark Purser is recognized as one of the world's leading vermicomposter specialists and he is regularly requested as a speaker at national venues across the country.
Who are the partners, sponsors and supporters?
People or companies just like you interested in schools, youth and sustainability. Your tax-deductible donation, along with the support we have received from around the globe, will really make a difference in a fun and innovative way.
If you would like to learn how to be a part of California Dream Week with services, products or sponsorships, please contact us at 530-898-9009 or send an email to info@californiadreamweek.org
You could be personally responsible for generating near $4,000 for this project to benefit California North State schools. How? Donate $5 today then ask 5 of your friends to donate and ask each of them to invite 5 of their friends to do the same. In only four cycles of friends, you will have generated enough for a school to purchase 15 computers, install a CSI-style crime lab in its science department, replace or add some bleachers for sports events, or purchase 200 books!
