Who is the organizer?
Soroptimist International of Chico (SI Chico) [www.sichico.com] is a service organization with a long and distinguished history in the California North State community. Soroptimists are committed to improving the lives of women, children and youth in local communities, in the USA, and around the world. Through local and international projects, Soroptimist International raises funds to support projects locally and globally.
Soroptimist International boasts over 100,000 members in over 113 countries. At the United Nations, Soroptimist International is represented as a non-governmental organization - a "global voice" working through awareness, advocacy and action. The California Dream Week contest/event is one venue that provides SI Chico an outlet for the expression of its commitment to social development, education, environment, international goodwill, understanding and friendship.

Donate $5 today then ask 5 of your friends to donate and ask each of them to invite 5 of their friends to do the same. In only four cycles of friends, you will have generated enough for a school to purchase 15 computers, install a CSI-style crime lab in its science department, replace or add some bleachers for sports events, or purchase 200 books!
